Can I watch over the air TV signal?
Yes. All laptop TV tuners are capable of receiving over the air signals and some are capable of receiving HDTV signals over the air. You ability to watch over the air signals depends on where you live and the antenna you are using.

Can I watch cable and satellite signals?
Yes. With laptop TV tuner you can watch basic cable and satellite channels without a cable box.
Which channels can I watch?
If you subscribe to channels which require a cable box to view on your TV you will also need a cable box to watch those channels using your laptop TV tuner. In order to watch premium channels, such as HBO, you will need to subscribe to those channels.

Do I need an antenna to watch over the air signals?
Yes. Some laptop TV tuners come have an antenna built in and some come with a small, portable antenna. As a general rule, if you want to watch over the air TV signals more than 10 miles from the transmission tower an upgraded antenna is recommended.

Yes. You can record any show that you can view using a laptop TV tuner.
